If you are planning on attending, call Rev. Carl Walters at 519-410-1339 or email him at mylifeis2serve@gmail.com to RSVP at least one week before each meeting to ensure they have enough food for everyone.

 Celebrate Recovery
CR is a ministry for anyone recovering from any hurt, habit or hang-up. It is a
support group format with some teaching about recovery. Consider the possibility that this might be just what you need to step onto the road to recovery. The group meets every Thursday at 7 pm. If you are thinking about joining this group, please be aware that the Step Study closes October 25. This means that no one new will be able to join after this time.

You’re Invited!
There will be an Open House here at the church on Saturday from 2-5 pm in honour of Ken & Lorene Dearden’s 50th Anniversary. Please drop in to room 7/8 and help them celebrate this important milestone.

 YFC/Youth Unlimited Fundraiser Banquet
From Rayburn Lansdell… “On Monday October 29th we're planning a Dinner & Show called “Lights, Camera, APPRECIATION!" We'll be rolling out the red carpet and the paparazzi will be there with cameras flashing! We want to have some fun dressing up in our best attire and welcoming you with all the pomp and pageantry of a gala event. We'd love to have you dress up too, but more so we want to be able to thank you for supporting us and the youth in our ministry.
We know that dinner will be fantastic as Linda Belore returns as our caterer, and this year we have a very special treat with an after dinner show called "The Downs".
After playing to sold out houses, winning the Producers Pick Award at the 2015 London Fringe Festival, "The Downs" is coming to Tillsonburg! Sheryl Scott, who wrote and performs in "The Downs", has created a laugh filled, one person show. Come spend some time with Millie Johnson as she spins tales of life on the farm in 1950's Northern New Brunswick. Millie will make you laugh. Millie will make you feel happy to be alive.  Millie will warm your very soul and make you cry with joy.
I sure hope you can join us for this special APPRECIATION night. The event is taking place at North Broadway Baptist Church. The red carpet will be rolled out for you at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35/person or $250 for a table of 8.”
You can call or email Rayburn for tickets (give Beth a call and she will give you his contact info) or go to www.yfctillsonburg.com to purchase online.

Planning a special event to be held at the church? A church use form must be submitted for approval by the Deacons. Contact the office for a copy.

If you need to do any printing for church related ministries, please call or email Beth in the office before coming in and she will let you know the best time to do so. Giving her a heads up will ensure that you don’t have to wait if she is in the middle of a print job. As a rule, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the best day to come in. The office is also open Sunday morning if you need to copy something at the last minute.

Housekeeping Notes:
· Please help us be good stewards of our finances by checking before you leave to make sure all washroom lights are off and taps are not left running.
· Remember also, to take your garbage and recycling with you when you exit the sanctuary.
· If you attend meetings at the church during the week, please make sure to wash and put away any and all dishes you use.
· Please make sure to check the outside doors if you are the last one to leave the building to ensure that they are locked.
· When the cooler weather arrives, please do not leave your keys or other items of value unattended in your coat pockets. Over the course of the fall and winter last year, several area churches reported thefts occurring during their morning worship services.
· If you are a ministry head, run a life group or have scheduled a meeting that has been advertised in the bulletin and make changes to time or location, please let Beth know so that the information in the bulletin, the calendar and on our website can be as accurate and up to date as possible.
