Important For Those Involved In Our Children’s Ministries!
If you help with any of our children’s programs, please check your mailboxes TODAY! Many of you have out of date police checks. Letters have been given to those we need checks from. Please get your checks done ASAP and bring them to Beth in the office or put them in her mailbox.
If you do not have a mailbox, the ministry coordinator for the ministry you assist with will have a letter for you. Thank you.

Plan to Protect and Police Checks
Our insurance requires that everyone that helps out in our youth and children’s programs in any capacity MUST have taken the full P2P course once and then take the refresher course every year thereafter, as well as having a police check every three years.
The training is free for you to take. If you have not taken the course, or are due for the refresher, please contact Beth in the office and she will get you registered to take the training so that you can complete it in the comfort of your own home.
Once you have been registered, you will receive 2 emails; one from P2P with the link for completing the course (this link is good for one month only) and another from Beth with instructions what to do when you are finished the training. If you don’t receive the emails, make sure to check your junk email folder and if you still don’t have it, contact Beth.

50 Plus
It has been decided to take a 1 year sabbatical from the 50+ ministry this year. We look forward to being able to resume this ministry in the Fall of 2018. If you have any questions please contact Matt Davis or Pastor Jeff.

Director of Worship
The Deacons have offered a contract to Andrew for the position of Director of Worship through to December 31. Evaluation will be made during that period and then a final decision will be made after that time. Andrew will be stepping down from the Deacon’s Board during this period.

Worship Night in Tillsonburg
Join us tonight at 7 pm in the sanctuary on for an evening of praise and worship with music by “A Step Out of the Atmosphere”.

 Missions Conference – October 13-15

Jump in on the Sunday Morning Word of Truth classes that will feature missionaries sharing from around the world (there will be 3 classes). Sunday night will feature our Missions Potluck and service to follow. WOW! It’s the most exciting weekend of the year!
Stay tuned for a more detailed schedule of events!

 Ministry Opportunities
**There is a desperate need for people to help with the children’s program during Word of Truth, from

9:15am – 10:15am. This ministry involves taking care of little ones so Mom and Dad can enjoy bible teaching. If you are able to help, please contact Pastor Jeff or Brett Mason.
**We need 2 youth leaders to join our youth ministry team. This is an exciting and very important ministry for our own youth. If you have an interest and a heart to serve and help our youth mature into strong Christian men and woman, please contact Brett Mason.
**The audio/visual team is in need of people to do sound. If you have the willingness to learn, this would be a great place to serve. You don't necessarily need to be "techy" but rather, have the ability to learn how it's done. Talk to Kevin Fishback if you are interested.
